To kickstart Base Batch 001, we’re launching the Base Batch Global Buildathon Series with six regional buildathons across the world with up to 10 finalists per region moving onto Demo Day

Buildathons
Builders can apply to join any event listed below to challenge themselves to build the next killer app.
Build across several tracks including:
Incubation
Top teams will be invited to join incubation programs that will support builders as they continue to develop their product, business model, go to market plan, and pitch deck. These programs will include hands-on mentorship, workshops hosted by Base Core team members and partners, and networking events with fellow builders.
Demo Day
Top teams from buildathons will be invited to join “Demo Day” to pitch on a live-streamed public stage to top judges from across Coinbase, Base and our partners for a share of up to $1,000,000 in funding.
What's at stake
All builders who participate in Base Batches will boost their reputation and credibility in the industry with top teams moving onto incubation and our demo day. Plus all teams who submit projects will have their Talent Protocol builder scores boosted.
Calendar
Over 50+ winners will be selected across the events listed below (qualifying events subject to change). In addition, there will be community-hosted virtual and live workshop events in over 30 cities across the world.
